The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

Title: The Hobbit
Author: J.R.R. Tolkien
Stars: 3
Description: The Hobbit is the story of Bilbo Baggins, a respectable member of a race of a little people called hobbits. Now, like a many of his kind, Bilbo cherishes comfort and spurns adventure of any sort. But that will all change when Gandalf the wizard scratches a sign on his door, and the hobbit is besieged by thirteen ravenous dwarves. The next thing he knows, Bilbo is off on a perilous quest to reclaim a stolen treasure from the dragon, Smaug, a quest that will lead him to a creature named Gollum and a very magical ring...
This book is a great book, but it took me a long time to read. It took me a while to get used to the way they talked. One of the reasons why I like this book is because it had a lot of adventure in it. One after another something happens to the group. The book takes you through, trolls, eagles, goblins, elves and man. This is a great book if you want a good adventure, and I'm going to soon read the actual Lord of the Rings series.
How many of you have read this book and loved it?
